We believe a big part of getting great images comes from trusting and feeling comfortable with your photographers. We simply adore our couples and very often make lasting friendships with them. Keeping everything simple and intimate is our goal. Since blogs are meant to be a bit more on the personal side, we thought it might be fun to do a short session answering questions that we often get from the wonderful people we photograph! 1. Why wedding photography? Ginger - I've wanted to be a photographer since I was very young and I really found myself drawn to weddings when I was a teenager. Putting the two together just made sense! Being a part of a day as meaningful as a wedding day is an incredible blessing and honor. I love telling a couples love story through the eyes of my lens.

2. Do you do other photography? Absolutely! We do focus on weddings but we put our heart and soul into every photo we take. We love photographing individuals, children, babies, families, couples, senior students and even wonderful furry friends too!

3. Are you from Georgia? Ginger - I was actually born in Asheville, NC and grew up in Miami, FL. I moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1990. Jon - I was born in Trenton, NJ and grew up in Roebling, NJ. I moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1997 while serving in the US Navy.

4. What do you love about weddings? That each couple has a unique love story and we get to help them tell it!

5. What do you do on a Saturday when not photographing a wedding? Ginger - Sleep! When I wake up I usually watch movies and go shopping. Jon - Watch sports and work on the business.

6. Advice for a bride? Hire a planner, love your photographer's work, and relax! A planner is invaluable*, your photographs will be all you have left after the day is over and the guests are gone, relax - all the planning is over and the man of your dreams will be waiting for you at the end of the aisle. 7. How and when did you guys meet? We met at work in 2003 and have been inseparable ever since. You know that when you are with someone 24/7 for several years and still can't bear to be apart, you are meant to be together!

8. How long have you been taking photos? Ginger - I have been seriously taking photos since I was 17. I have been a professional photographer since 2008 when I opened my business. Jon - I have been taking photos since 2008 also.

9. Your images are stunning! Do you have any formal training? Yes. I have several certificates from FCCJ for completing photography and Adobe PhotoShop classes. I have also nearly completed a full course with the New York Institute of Photography. Outside of that, we really just try to shoot and read as much as we possibly can.

10. How long have you two been married? We've been together since 2003 and happily married since 2006.
